Liverpool Completes the Signing of Lazar Markovic for £20m
There are a lot of things going
on in the transfer window as many football clubs are preparing for new football
leagues season that will kick off in no distant time from now. In respect to
that, Liverpool football club, which came second in the last season’s English
Premier League, is one the football clubs that is preparing to partake in the
forthcoming Premier and UEFA Champions League. Liverpool finds its name again
after many years of being displaced from the world of Champion’s League.
According to today’s report from
BBC, it stated: “Liverpool have completed the £20m signing of winger Lazar
Markovic from Benfica on a "long-term deal”. The star player, Lazar
Markovic, who joined Benifica in 2013, helped the former club side won the Portuguese
title last season. He is a young player of 20 years and his nationality is
Serbia.
According to the interview with Lazar
Markovic, he promised to put in his best to take the Reds to next level. It is believed
that his coming will add flavour to the club even as their main striker Luis
Suarez is now a complete player in Barcelona for £75m.
