Unique Information
A sad incidence recently took
place in a bridge located in Borno, the capital of Meduguri of Nigeria. Borno
has been the base of Boko Haram hideout for long time now. The people who live
in this part of Nigeria are gradually getting tired of life as they do not know
the next action to be taken by these agents of destruction known as the Boko
Haram.
At about 2 am Nigerian time on
Sunday morning, a loud sound was heard at popular Madafuma Bridge, which links
Biu-Damboa- Maiduguri federal road in Borno State. This action was carried out
by gunmen suspected to be the Boko Haram.
As a result of this ugly
incidence, many who intended to travel from Borno to other parts of Nigeria had
their movement delayed as the bridge was left with just a thin portion. Many who
did not want to take the risk of passing through the remaining thin portion
have their vehicles diverted.
In addition to fight against the
Boko Haram, students of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, on
Sunday caught a man with some explosive materials around one of the hostels. The
man is said to behave like a madman. In accordance
with that, he had been handed over to the policemen to investigate on the state
of the man. The items that were found with the man include a stove, old
newspapers copies, and some liquid mixture suspected to be kerosene, and petrol.
