Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas, NLNG, hereby invites all year one students in Nigerian universities to apply for the 2014/2015 undergraduate scholarship. This is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibilities to Nigeria and her citizens. Its objective is to promote academic excellence among Nigeria undergraduates in various tertiary institutions in the country. Nigeria LNG Limited was incorporated as Limited Liability Company in Nigeria in on May 17, 1989. The main function of this establishment is to produce Liquefied Natural Gas for export into other countries of the world.    

 

Criteria for Application into 2014/2015 Nigeria Liquefy Natural Gas scholarship for Undergraduate Students

If you are year one under graduate student in Nigeria or you have a relation who is an undergraduate, the criteria to follow for the application to be done are just simple. The criteria are:

·        You must be a fulltime year one undergraduate student in Nigeria;

·        You must register and create a user account on the undergraduate scholarship application website;

·        You must activate your user account from the account notification mail sent to you;

·        You have to Log on and submit an application on the undergraduate scholarship application website; and finally

·        You have to wait for notification from Nigeria LNG.  

 

Who Cannot Apply for 2014/2015 Nigeria Liquefy Natural Gas (NLNG) Scholarship?

Those who are not eligible for application into the scholarship as listed on the company’s website.

·        If you are a part-time year one student, I am sorry because this scholarship is not for you. The company need only fulltime year one students.

·        Second year to final year undergraduate students are ineligible for this scholarship. But there is only one solution if your level is higher than year one; only if you will go back to year one and start afresh. Is that funny? Never mind…

·        If you are a beneficiary of any other scholarship related to this, please do not apply so that others will have the same opportunity you had. In fact, “Na only you waka come”?; None Nigerians should not be worried on the last phrase for it is a local joke.

 

 

What are the Attachments Needed for the Application?

The materials needed for successful application into this scholarship are as follow:

·        Your Scanned passport photograph which must be of good size;

·        Scanned copy of JAMB and University admission letters as an evidence that you are a student of the university you claimed to be;

·        Scanned copy of WAEC/NECO/GCE/O’ Levels or A’ Level of your result as it stand as a witness that you really passed through Senior Secondary School in Nigeria;

·        A scanned copy of your university Identity Card; and

·        Scanned copy of Letter of identification from Local Government of Origin; You have to travel down to your Local Government to get this important paper.

Note that the above documents should be in JPEG, BMP, PNG, or GIFF format.
