Not Fewer than 25 Women Mechanics Trained in Edo

There is a saying that what a man can do a woman can do better. This saying is shown in the life of young Nigerian female graduates of 25 in number who picked mechanic as means of earning for a living. These females graduated under the leadership of a female mechanic in Edo State of Nigeria.

More of this is encouraged as it will help in reduction of high unemployment rate in Nigeria in general. According to statistics, more than 60% of Nigerian youths are unemployed and the government is making effort to ensure that this high unemployment rate is reduced by providing channels to reduce and minimize unemployment in the country.

Many good Nigerians welcomed idea like this in the ceremony of the Lady Mechanic Village organised by the Nigerian Bottling Company in Benin. The First Lady of Nigeria, Dame Patience Jonathan, encourage this initiative and she went further to say that this will help minimize unemployment among Nigerian women.
