Because of the recent terrorists attacks by a group known as
Boko Haram, many businessmen and women who were affect are afraid of continuing
with their businesses in that location as a result of fear and other negative
factors. This report is according to the Nigeria Television Authority, NTA,
network news on July 2, 2014. Many customers who were coming for purchasing of
goods and rendering of services now do not think of visiting the affected area
again. The traffics which were usually received from customers are now history
as many are afraid of losing their lives.
Many victims of the terrorists attack were interviewed by
NTA and they poured out their hearts in bitterness. A businesswoman who was
interviewed said that notwithstanding that she lost her money, goods, and other
valuables, she still thanks God for her life. She went further to say that the
damage as a result of the bomb blast is much. Businessmen who were interviewed
on the negative impact of the recent bomb blast in Abuja, the country's
capital, said that they are confused on how to start lives again. What do you
