Google Launches New venture Fund for European Start-ups

 Google, one of the leading marketers of both products and services, decided to declare its interest to invest in promising European technology companies. This investment is expected to promote the technological companies in the European continent.

The person that oversees this project is Bill Maris, managing partner at Google Ventures. He stated: "the $100m (£58m) fund will "invest in the best ideas from the best European entrepreneurs".

According to Google, it stated that it could not yet predict the kind of company that will receive funding in Europe but all will focus on technology and science. Five year ago, Google invested in technological companies which give back a good result in return.
