APC advises Christians to vote their choice

It is clear to every good Nigerian that political parties in the country cultivate the habit of buying the interest of the masses with money. The aspiring ruling candidates do take steps into many communities they want to rule and keep on distributing money and other resources because they want to occupy certain positions either by crook or by hook. This makes them to perform poorly when they find themselves in the positions they were aspiring to be as many of them struggle recover the money they spent during the campaign.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has advised Christians in Osun State, Nigeria, to vote to candidate of their choice in the forth coming governorship election in state. APC told the Christians to forget the about anything that any organization told them about the candidate of the major opposing party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) being a Christian. APC accused PDP that Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) advised the Christians in the state to vote for the Christian candidate in the next month’s governorship election.

According to APC, there should be no sentiment in the forth coming election on 9th August 2014. APC stated that what is more important is the quality of service the individual candidates will offer and not the religion. They stated (APC) that CAN of Osun state advised Christians to vote for the aspiring Christian candidate. The aspiring governor of PDP of the state is Omisore while that of APC is Aregbesola.

Director of Publicity, Research and Strategy, Mr Kunle Oyatomi, of APC, stated that when Aregbesola decided to feed 300,000 primary students in the state, he did not discriminate between the Christians and the Muslins.
